PREMIO“SCULTURE SONORE”
LARI (Pisa) – Giunge alla XXVI edizione Collinarea Festival del Suono 2024, festival multidisciplinare che si svolgerà dal 12 luglio al 3 agosto 2024, organizzato da Sartoria Caronte APS, con la direzione artistica di Loris Seghizzi e Mirco Mencacci, con il contributo dei Comuni di Casciana Terme Lari e Pontedera, con la compartecipazione di Confcommercio di Pisa, Camera di Commercio Toscana Nord Ovest e Terre di Pisa, con il sostegno di MiC – Ministero della Cultura e Fondazione Pisa. Media partner Rai Radio 3.
Da due anni è nata una sezione dedicata a Suono, Rumore e Vibrazione, una piattaforma annuale di incontro e condivisione sugli effetti negativi del rumore in contrapposizione a quelli positivi del suono, in tutte le sue espressioni, tre giorni ricchi di spettacoli, concerti e incontri con scienziati e ricercatori provenienti da tutto il mondo.
ART.1 FINALITA’ DEL BANDO
Collinarea Festival del Suono sostiene la ricerca e lo sviluppo di nuove forme d’arte, soprattutto per quanto riguarda l’innovazione del suono e le sue proprietà benefiche per mente e corpo.
Per questo si ricercano fino a 5 artisti di sculture sonore, che verranno installate per tutta la durata della sezione Suono del festival (dal 12 al 14 luglio 2024) all’interno del borgo medievale di Lari (PI).
ART.2 A CHI SI RIVOLGE
Il bando si rivolge ad artisti e scultori sonori, maggiorenni.
ART.3 OPERE AMMISSIBILI
- Le sculture non possono superare la dimensione di 15 m2
- Devono rispettare le norme di sicurezza europee
- Non devono superare l’altezza di 2,5 metri
- Devono poter essere esposte all’aperto
ART.4 MODALITA’ DI PARTECIPAZIONE
Gli artisti interessati a partecipare dovranno compilare il form online e inviare entro e non oltre il 30 aprile 2024 i seguenti materiali:
- Audio e video/foto dell’opera;
- Disegno tecnico dell’opera;
- Documento di identità in corso di validità.
La partecipazione al Bando è gratuita.
ART.5 CRITERI DI SELEZIONE
Le opere verranno valutate da Sartoria Caronte e selezionate secondo le seguenti caratteristiche: emozionalità, qualità, originalità, ricerca, innovazione, immersività, purezza, capacità di evocare il reale e infondere sorpresa e benessere.
ART.6 LA GIURIA
La giuria sarà composta dai direttori artistici Mirco Mencacci e Loris Seghizzi (60%), dallo staff di Sartoria Caronte Aps e dagli esperti di suono, ospiti del festival.
Il giudizio della giuria sarà insindacabile.
ART.7 PREMIO
L’opera vincitrice riceverà un premio in denaro di 2.000 €.
ART. 8 ONERI DELL’ORGANIZZAZIONE
Sartoria Caronte si impegna a fornire vitto e alloggio agli artisti e assistenza al montaggio e allo smontaggio dell’opera, ove richiesta.
ART.9 OBBLIGHI DEGLI ARTISTI
-Il trasporto dell’opera sarà a carico dell’artista;
-Il montaggio dovrà essere effettuato l’11 luglio e lo smontaggio il 15 luglio e sarà a carico dell’artista;
-E’ obbligatorio rispettare date e orari del Festival, l’installazione e lo smontaggio dell’opera potrà avvenire dalle ore 8 alle ore 24 dei giorni sopra indicati;
-Eventuali richieste da parte dell’artista dovranno pervenire a mezzo email entro e non oltre il 31 maggio 2024, richieste successive a questa data non potranno essere accolte.
-Ogni artista sarà totalmente responsabile della propria opera anche in termini di sicurezza.

COMPETITION NOTICE
“SOUND SCULPTURES” PRIZE
LARI (Pisa)Tuscany – “Collinarea Festival del Suono 2024” reaches its 26th edition, a multidisciplinary festival that will take place from 12 July to 3 August 2024, organized by Sartoria Caronte APS, with the artistic direction of Loris Seghizzi and Mirco Mencacci, with the contribution of the Municipalities of Casciana Terme Lari and Santa Luce, with the participation of Confcommercio Pisa, Camera di Commercio Toscana Nord Ovest and Terre di Pisa, with the support of MiC -Ministero della Cultura e Fondazione Pisa. Two years ago, a section dedicated entirely to Sound, Noise and Vibration was born, an annual platform for meeting and sharing on the negative effects of noise as opposed to the positive ones of sound, in all its expressions, three days full of shows, concerts and free meetings with scientists and researchers from all over the world.
ART.1 PURPOSE OF THE NOTICE
Collinarea Festival del Suono supports the research and development of new art forms, especially regarding the innovation of sound and its beneficial properties for the mind and body.
For this reason, we are looking for up to 5 artists of sound sculptures, which will be installed for the entire duration of the Sound section of the festival (from 12 to 14 July 2024) inside the medieval village of Lari (PI).
ART.2 WHO IT IS ADDRESSED TO
The call is addressed to adult sound artists and sculptors.
ART.3 ELIGIBLE WORKS
1-Sculptures cannot exceed 15m2 in size
2-They must comply with European safety standards
3-They must not exceed 2.5m in height
4-They must be able to be displayed outdoors
ART.4 PARTICIPATION METHODS
Artists must complete and send the online form by midnight of March 24, 2024 and the following materials:
– Technical drawing of the work;
– Audio and video/photos of the work and brief description;
– Valid identity document.
Participation in the call is free.
ART.5 SELECTION CRITERIA
The works will be evaluated by Sartoria Caronte APS and selected according to the following characteristics: emotionality, quality, originality, research, innovation, immersiveness, purity, ability to evoke reality and instill surprise and well-being.
ART.6 THE JURY
The jury will be composed by the artistic directors Mirco Mencacci and Loris Seghizzi (60%) and the public (40%), the jury’s judgment will be unquestionable.
ART.7 PRIZE
The winning work will receive a cash prize of €2,000.
ART. 8 ORGANIZATION CHARGES
Sartoria Caronte undertakes to provide food and accommodation to the artists and assistance in assembling and dismantling the work, where requested.
ART.9 OBLIGATIONS OF THE ARTISTS
-The transport of the work will be responsibility of the artist;
-The assembly must be done on July 11th and the dismantling on July 15th and will be the responsibility of the artist;
-It is mandatory to respect the dates and times of the Festival, the installation and dismantling of the work can take place from 8 am to midnight on the days indicated above;
-Any requests from the artist must be received by email no later than May 13, 2024, requests after this date cannot be accepted.
-Each artist will be totally responsible for their work also in terms of safety.
